The Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center provides a beautiful setting for you to learn and explore the outdoors with your family. With property on both the Minnesota and Wisconsin sides of the St. Croix River, the center hosts over 10 miles of hiking trails that wind throughout pines, oak savanna, restored prairies, wooded ravines, an apple orchard, and along the river. You are sure to see a vast variety of plant and animal life.
The Interpretive Center is located onsite and is open daily from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, offering hands-on exhibits and live animals for display.
Admission is free, and the center offers various special events throughout the year. Check the website for current offerings.
