This is an AMAZING website! If your family is interested in volunteering in some capacity and just doesn’t know where to start, this website will be your ultimate resource. The mission of Doing Good Together is to provide you with a comprehensive resource describing hundreds of volunteer projects for families, including work with the elderly, the environment, cultural organizations and political campaigns. The website will teach you how to involve your toddlers to teens in social action and charitable giving and teach them about today’s pressing social issues. You can find ways to plan a volunteer vacation, collect data on frogs and toads in your neighborhood learn how to sponsor a child overseas or give to a local food pantry. The site also offers family volunteering tips and simple ways to volunteer without traveling far from home. I especially like their page on Random Acts of Kindness.
