Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary

This wildflower garden and bird sanctuary was founded in 1907 and is the oldest public wildflower garden in the United States. The garden is open from April thru mid-October and is home to over 500 varieties of plants and 140 species of birds. Enjoy hiking on 15 acres and observe woodland, wetland and prairie habitats. Visitors can also stop in at the Martha Crone Visitors Shelter for natural history displays and trail maps. Admission is FREE.
