Happy Trails was started by a local mom in an effort to get kids and families connected with their natural surroundings.  Happy Trails is free, and open to all families with a sense of adventure.  Kids and their families can choose from several scheduled outings, year round.  Families are asked to come dressed for any kind of weather, bring their own water and snacks and parents are responsible for supervising their own children at all times.  Many hikes are stroller-friendly and include a bonfire at the end of some events.  For a current schedule of upcoming hikes, please check the website.
