This classic red and yellow dining car with flashing lights has been around since the 1930s and is open 24 hours a day, making it a great breakfast venue if you have an early riser. Your kids will love the novelty of eating in this unique restaurant. The food is greasy (as it should be) and the prices are very affordable. With only 4 booths you can expect a wait at peak time, or if your kids are old enough, grab a stool at the counter and watch the pancakes and burgers cook.. Play a tune on the in-booth jukebox while you wait for your food. Leave your cashmere at home. Your clothes will take Mickey’s home with you. Added plus…the diner is right across the street from the Minnesota Children’s Museum.
