This great indoor warehouse is home to over 15 ethnic restaurants, countless specialty grocery stores and several gift shops. Your family can eat anything from a Mexican torta to a Scandinavian open faced sandwich. This is a great place to try new foods or to order many different items and share them in the central atrium. The market hosts free, live entertainment on their indoor stage on a regular basis and hosts a Family Fun Night at 5 pm on Fridays and a weekly Neighborhood Night every Thursday at 5pm. Enjoy live music and dinner specials from 5-8pm. They also have an indoor play area for kids ages 2-5. “Free parking” (for up to 3 hours) is available in the Midtown Exchange parking ramp on the east side of the building. Bring you ticket in for validation with any purchase. Our family loves Holy Land Deli, Manny’s Tortas and Everest Cafe, which serves Nepali food. Yummy! A great rainy day or cold weather adventure.

What I wish I had known before going…
1. The playland is currently closed. This being the case, there was really nothing for my toddler to do except eat lunch, as she is not a shopper.
2. We went with my MOMS Club, which I think was a mistake. There were 5 of us with strollers, and any time we stopped we were a traffic jam in these small walkways. Also, it was difficult to walk and have a conversation for the same reason - not enough stroller space. I would suggest going alone, and try to bring your sling instead if you can instead of the stroller.
3. Go well before your kids will be hungry, and bring snacks from home. My daughter got hungry, and this is not a fast-food restaurant nor a sit-down-and-color-while-you-wait place. You have to go from vendor to vendor to get your food, and sometimes it takes many minutes for the item to be prepared. Also, her PB&J sandwich and milk cost $4… hm. Expensive lunch.
I would suggest this place only for moms with babes in arms who want to shop, or for older children who can appreciate the cultural experience.
