Several chapters throughout the metro area.
MOMS Club (Moms Offering Moms Support) is an international non-profit organization providing support and activities during the day for moms who are raising their children full or part-time at home. The club offers monthly activities for members.
For example, the local chapter, MOMS Club of St. Paul-Midway/Como East, offers a variety of outings and activities every weekday, including trips to the zoo, local parks and playgrounds, rec. centers, story times, playgroups, a monthly meeting/ playgroup, babysitting coops, book and knitting clubs, holiday parties and a monthly mom’s night out.

Try doing a search on MOMS Club in your city. This is the easiest way to find the local club. It is a geographically based club, and you have to join in your own neighborhood. I joined 1 1/2 years ago and still attend every week. There really is something for every mom of young children.

When I moved here 2 years ago I was at a loss for finding things to do. So I looked up the area’s MOMS club. I joined shortly afterwards and have loved all the friends I have made for myself and my kids. They have been a continued source of support and encouragement. It is great to have a network of people to ask questions about the best places to vacation, a good plumber, great recipes, or just to go out and get a drink and have an adult conversation. I highly recommend it to all stay at home moms or working moms that have young kids.

The last 3 years that I’ve been a member of International MOMS Club(R) have been truly rewarding for my entire family. I now have more friends than I ever dreamed I’d have when I moved to the Twin Cities 8 years ago. I’ve learned about places to visit and activities that I may not have discovered on my own. I’ve been inspired in so many ways by other members and believe that I am a better parent because of it. I feel more connected to my community where I volunteer my time and resources through the club.
