Operation Minnesota Nice provides support and comfort to those serving in the armed forces. Specifically, the organization adopts soldiers who would normally receive little or no correspondence from home and provides these soldiers with letters and care packages. There are several ways you can help. Options include “adopting” a solider and providing care packages and personal letters or emails, collecting and donating items to send in care packages, attending a care-package packing party or making a monetary donation. This could be a great opportunity for your family, a class project or girl scout or boy scout activity. To see a list of suggested donations, please view the OMN website.
