Pizza Barn in Stockholm Wisconsin

If you and your family are interested in a unique adventure, try driving to what is locally known as the Pizza Barn in Stockholm, WI. Wait…before you groan…this is REALLY worth the drive! Owners, Ted and Robbie raised three kids on their farm, and still raise all their own organically grown produce that they use on their pizzas which are cooked in their own brick ovens. HEAVEN!

People come from all over (even on horseback) and bring tables, blankets, wine, cheese, fruit, and good company to enjoy the beautiful farmland while eating amazing gourmet pizza. Our kids enjoyed exploring the farm and chasing chickens and kittens while we waited for our pizza. It was packed the day we went and we only waited 20 minutes for our perfect pizza.

The only things for sale on site are pizza, bread, granola, sometimes eggs, and coffee beans. Everything else is BYO (really everything…you need to bring your own beverages, utensils, plates, napkins, chairs if you want one, and bring a garbage bag…you take your trash with you, too). CASH ONLY.

The farm is open for pizza year-round on Tuesdays from 4:30-8:00pm.

The farm does not have a website. Here are some links with more info:

Farm location (map) can be found HERE .

Insider Tips:

  • While the farm is open year-round, plan going on a nice day…eating it on site is a must!
  • There are some electric fences on the property.
  • The drive from the cities takes about an hour and a half. Take the Wisconsin side along the river for a more scenic and faster trip. Alternatively you can drive on the Minnesota side which takes you through Hastings and Red Wing.
  • Most other shops in Stockholm are closed on Tuesdays, so don’t be disappointed…the farm will be entertainment enough.
  • Look for renovations in the barn which will allow for cold-weather eating soon!
  • Have a trusty babysitter? This would be a splendid date-night outing!
