The Center for Irish Music teaches traditional Irish music to students of all ages (ages 1-101) in fiddle, flute, tin whistle, bodhran, guitar, piano and vocal instruction. The center offers private and group lessons many nights of the week including ensemble classes and a monthly family session. The center gives discounts to multiple family members who enroll in classes. The center also hosts a Young Irish Musicians Weekend in the summer. There are great classes for young children, such as the Singing Sweeties class described below. Hey parents…you can even enroll in a class to learn popular pub songs!
Singing Sweeties is a music and movement class for small children and their families. Irish songs and simple dance movements are taught and traditional instruments are introduced. A 6 session class runs about $85.
