The Children’s Theatre offers the best quality theater performances in town for families with children. Tickets may seem like a bit of a splurge, but they are worth every penny. Performances are geared to children of all ages. Visit the website to find a show that is appropriate for your family. Call the theater or visit the website, as they offer “Pay What You Can Afford” performances on special dates and Target promotes 2-for-1 tickets on opening weekends. Season ticket holders get a discount. Rush tickets are also always an option if your child can handle the disappointment if things don’t pan out.
The theatre also offers a variety of theater classes and camps for children of all ages during the year.
The Children’s Theatre is located next to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (free admission). Make a day of it!
