TVbyGIRLS provides educational workshops and classes for girls ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills and inter cultural understanding. Their mission is to create media that reflects girls’ unique experiences and stories and to combat destructive media images. Some issues that have been explored include: girl culture, adolescent changes, stereotypes, leadership traits and women in political office.
